We are approved to use a range of psychometric assessment tools to enhance performance and aid development. These include

These instruments greatly speed up data gathering, awareness and understanding. Depending on which tool is used, they can provide reliable assessments of personality orientation, talent, current state of development or performance. They provide indications of the most fruitful areas for development against role, team and performance requirements.

Ranges of applications and benefits for each instrument are outlined below. Application usually requires filling in of self-assessment and/or feedback questionnaires, analysis of results and debriefing by a qualified practitioner.

Myers-Briggs (MBTI)


MBTI is a widely used personality indicator which helps people understand themselves, their behaviour and make best use of individual differences and natural strengths. Personal and team profiles can be provided as well as extensive applications research and follow up support materials. Benefits include

Keirsey Temperament Sorter


Another approach to understanding individual differences or temprament based on the work of Carl Jung. Leadership Practices Inventory


This instrument provides a profile of current skills/practices based on self-assessment and those of other key stakeholders. A report and manual/ workbook is provides explaining practices, existing profile and areas in need of development. Provides an excellent basis for the development of potent leadership behaviours.

Leadership Development Profile


The Leadership Development Profile is a highly reliable and well-validated tool for measuring the stage of development of an individual. Participating individuals receive a written description of how their profile impacts the way they 'make meaning' and how this in turn may affect their leadership capacity. It provides a developmental and transformational framework for leadership development and coaching.

Team Management Systems (TMS) Profiles

These are a series of 360 degree questionnaires, based on extensive research, focused on building performance and productivity of individuals and teams by aligning work definition with personality preference and effective team dynamics. The results are presented in the form of attractive individual and team reports, which are offered separately or combined as required. These are the:

Team Management Profile- A detailed report placing personal work preferences, strengths and weaknesses within the context of the team and its overall goals.

Types of work profile- A report on the perceived content of a specific job, in relation to the eight areas shown in the Types of Work Model. Input can be collected from just one or several people. A clear overlap diagram shows the extent to which there is a match between the person and the job.

Team performance profile- A 360 degree feedback tool providing a snapshot in time of the team's perceived performance. The team and selected groups with which it interacts complete questionnaires about performance in relation to the eight 'types of work' and linking.

Linking skills profile- A detailed questionnaire about perceived effectiveness in a range of 'linking skills' is completed by an individual and a number of others selected by them. Linking skills are focused on team coordination and leadership.
