ChangePath!
Corporate Change and Transformation

Adapting to emerging challenges within a tough business or service environment requires continual quality improvement or a quantum leap in performance or productivity. You often have to do both, while continuing to satisfy multiple stakeholders – customers, shareholders, suppliers, employees, regulators and so on.
Employees today have different expectations and sustainable change increasingly relies on their commitment and good will. They no longer accept dogmatic authority; they expect greater job satisfaction and respect for their physical, emotional and spiritual health. They expect greater consideration and consultation in relation to change and have less identification with the organisation. Managers can no longer hide behind their authority and often need to rely on influence without resorting to positional power.
The complexity of the change journey makes enormous demands in terms of leadership and learning that we are often neither aware of nor prepared for. It means changes in the way people think, act, organise or do business. Such change is usually demanding and sometimes disturbing for all concerned. It will often require lengthy commitment, new ways of organising and leading people and different ways of learning, communicating and working together.
Whatever the desired change, we believe that leading, learning, and systemic understanding and the ability to regulate, resolve and transform conflict are essential. No one theory or model fits all and we firmly believe in co-creating a change journey and process tailored to your organisation and desired outcomes.

ChangePath clients include

  • CEOs and executives bearing responsibility for enterprise direction
  • Managers accountable for leading teams in transition

ChangePath Delivery

ChangePath works on the basis that change is like a one-way journey in the constantly shifting territory of the business, social or economic environment. At the beginning of the journey we need to orient ourselves – who and where we are, why we are going, where we want to get to, how we plan to get there and what we might encounter along the way. We will need diverse talents and resources, a sense of adventure, great agility and an ability to learn fast. We will need a willingness to act in uncertainty, to put up with the hardship of the journey and most of all a conviction that the journey will be well worth it for the great majority if not all.
We see ourselves as partners on the journey and committed to enabling you to reach a successful conclusion. Sometimes we will lead, sometimes follow and at others walk beside you. We bring our expertise to help with all stages of the journey, enhancing preparation, supporting leadership, facilitating learning, providing a shoulder to cry on or alerting people to potential pitfalls. We co-create the journey, travel with you and most of all we hope to partake in celebration of success at journey’s end.
This may entail envisioning the journey, strategic planning, ongoing action/inquiry to test innovative options, use of open space technology to build shared vision, dialogue sessions to transform contention and conflict, process consultancy to improve team performance, skills workshops to build capability, leadership coaching and so on. Audit instruments/surveys are periodically used to monitor the journey and enhance the change process.
